Dr Heather Cooke is a specialist cardiologist and graduate of the University of Sydney who briefly worked in Newcastle in 2011 and fell in love with the area. Dr Cooke joined Newcastle Heart with Dr Rohan Bhagwandeen in July 2015.

Professor Aaron Sverdlov is a Cardiologist with a special interest in the management and treatment of heart failure and cardio-oncology (cardiovascular complications of cancer therapies).

Dr Mohammed Al-Omary is a general and interventional cardiologist with a special interest in heart failure, ischemic heart disease, coronary artery disease, complex percutaneous coronary intervention and intravascular imaging.
Dr Stuart Sugito
Dr Stuart Sugito is a cardiologist with special interest in diagnostic cardiology and cardiac imaging testing. He has a special interest in structural and valvular heart disease, inherited cardiac conditions and cardiovascular disease prevention.
